Driving simulators are big business for video game developers with such titles as Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport and Need For Speed selling millions of copies.

However, there is one driving simulator which may just upset the video game heavyweights, and that’s GRID 2 from Codemasters.

The first GRID game came onto the scene in 2008 with its arcade-style driving experience and stunning graphics, i really enjoyed it. But, graphics have improved a hell of a lot since 2008 and the trailer for GRID 2 looks promising.

Some of the cars included in GRID 2 are Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, McLaren MP4-12C and the Pagani Huayra. The game’s creators say the total list of cars span over four decades and three continents.

GRID 2 is expected to be released in time for summer 2013, and will be available for the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC.
