We attended the Awesome & DetailedUK Summer Bash at the Awesome GTI Headquarters in Manchester last Sunday.

This particular event is for VAG owners, and aimed to help raise money for a Leukemia Charity after one of DetailedUK’s founding members, Ray Wilding, recently lost his life to the disease.

Awesome & Detailed UK Mega Raffle: Supporting The Fight Against Leukemia

The mega raffle this year isn’t just a bit of fun it’s for a very good cause some of you may know detailed UK lost one of its founder members ray wilding he sadly past away on may 20th of this year . Ray was what the scene was about having fun . Everyone loved him who ever had the pleasure of meeting him will know he was still 18 years old in the head Ray was battling leukemia which is cancer of the blood and he lost his fight quite quick.

We Detailed partnering with Awesome GTI would like to raise as much money as possible for Leukemia by having this raffle ray Will be so proud
So let’s show how united this vag scene is and raise money that will help people fighting this terrible disease which effects almost everyone at some point.

Myself, Iain, Phil, Leanne and Elle set off at 9:30am from Scarborough hoping to get there at a reasonable time.

On route…

and my R32…covered in feckin hay from a stupid tractor we were stuck behind! lol

The weather on route was a bit grim as you can see in this photo…

but thankfully it brightened up with only the odd shower throughout the day.

There were plenty of stunning VAG cars on show, check out this harlequin!

We’ve photographed this Audi A3 at many shows up and down the country and it never disappoints.

Rob’s Passat on 20″ rims slammed on air ride always catches our eye.

Im not a big fan of Skoda’s but this one looked spot on!

We really enjoyed the show and will certainly be attending next year, and im pleased to report that £1200 was raised for Ray Wilding’s charity!
