This amateur video was taken on Friday Morning in Kings Mountain, NC, which shows a train colliding with a trucks trailer which is split in half.

According to local police, the truck was hauling bales of cotton and was unable to clear the tracks near Battleground Avenue and Oak Street. The driver and his passenger abandoned the truck just prior to the collission, no injuries were reported.

This intersection has now been temporarily shut down until the city can install a safety barrier to prevent truckers from ignoring the “No Truck Crossing” signs from the crossing. This intersection has seen a number of similar incidents to this over the past 10 years.
