This rare 1991 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato II Coupe is one of only four examples in existence, and bidding has been furious for it at a recent auction.
However, not many people would have guessed that bidding on this car would exceed the £1 million mark…but it did!
The auction took place at Bonhams in the UK this past weekend, the auction ended at £1.2 million (approximately $1.9 million).

The DB4 GT Zegato is arguably the best loved and most respected car in Aston Martin’s 100-year history. The original collaboration between Aston Martin and Zegato resulted in just 19 cars being produced between 1961 and 1963.
The Saction II cars all feature a 4.2-litre engine with four-speed ‘David Brown’ manual gearbox. The peak output stands at 352bhp which produces a 0-60mph time of just 5.5 seconds. Top speed is an impressive 153mph.
