The EC in the name obviously stands for Eric Clapton, and the car itself is not actually new to us as we posted a video of it before. But this is the first time that Ferrari have acknowledged the existence of the car with these official photos, although no spec details were given on the SP12 EC’s build, it’s said to be inspired by the 512 BB, of which Eric Clapton has owned three.

The design work was carried out by Pininfarina, this matched with the Ferrari 458 Italia’s basic platform makes for one spectacular car.
