This amateur video footage shows a frightening accident at a busy intersection in Russia involving a speeding Audi R8 driver who crashes into another vehicle and then speeds off.

The vehicle, a Lada Samara according to Carscoop, is flipped over from the impact after the Audi R8 attempts to complete a U-turn at high speed on a busy road.

The driver of the R8 is seen to pause momentarily before speeding off from the scene and running a red light to escape.

Fortunately, there were several bystanders who came to the aid of the Lada driver, who thankfully managed to walk away.

Let’s hope that the idiot driving the Audi R8 gets caught!
