It was our first time attending the All Types VW Show in North Wales at Bodelwyddan Castle. Once the car had been crammed with four people and the camping gear we set on the 3-hour journey, in all honesty we expected rain for the weekend. Thankfully the sun came out in all its glory and we even got a bit burnt!

A little info on this event…

The All Types VW Show is held in the grounds of Bodelwyddan Castle, North wales. Not only is this the only VW show in North Wales, but it has become one of the largest shows in the North West region with thousands of visitors attending each year.

It is our aim to provide an enjoyable and relaxed weekend together with the following attractions:-

An arena full of Classic, Modified & Custom VW, Audi & Seat Show Vehicles
Over 100 Trade Stands selling new & used parts, accessories etc
Special Vehicle Displays
Vehicles for Sale Area
Over 30 Club Stands
Autojumble Stalls
Coastal Cruise
And more …

There was a great selection of both new and olds VW’s which were a pleasure to photograph.

Particularly standing out was Matt Webster’s green Passat estate looking very slammed and shiney!

I couldn’t help noticing the blue mk2 golf 16v sat in show and shine, who does that belong to? It was stunning.

The quality of cars on show were second to none and before we knew it we had taken over 500 photographs from the day.

All in all a very good show and atmosphere, definitely one for next show season too!
