HOMEgrown Launch Meet
Posted on , by Tim Dawkins
Last Friday I attended the first ever HOMEgrown German car meet at Beaconsfield services, organised by a local scene legend Mr Smuj “Bad VW” Singh.
The first turnout was great, with over 130 different cars throughout the night.
There was an epic selection of German metal from all over the south present, from ballin’ Benzes to bagged beemers.
This bagged 9N3 Polo GTI on Purple Schmidts was certainly a real head turner!
There are those that argue that a mini has no place at a german car meet, but this Cooper S on Rotiform BLQs was more than welcomed by all.
You know you’ve got a good meet going when a couple of bits of Jap metal come along to join the fun.
This first evening certainly got the HOMEgrown car meet off with a bang, and it was a really nice chilled out opportunity to get to mingle with some fellow enthusiasts from other automotive cliques.
The HOMEgrown Car meet is held at Beaconsfield Services on the last Friday of every month at 7pm.
