Lamborghini Aventador J: One of a kind
Posted on , by Nick Preston
The Aventador J is a one of a kind Lamborghini without a windscreen and roof which was built specifically for a very rich unnamed owner.

This car was recently featured at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and got some interesting feedback because it looks, well…insane!
Anyways, back to the car. The Aventador J is labelled by Lamborghini as their most uncompromising open super sports car of it’s entire history, and it’s pretty obvious why. The Aventador J has almost none of the luxuries found in the Aventador coupe, which makes this speedster as bare-boned and pure as possible.
This Lamborghini features a 700bhp V12 engine, a highly-advanced ISR transmission, pushrod suspension all-wheel drive, but apart from these key features, the Aventador J is probably the most unique car on the planet.
The Aventador J is so important for Lamborghini in fact, that the Italian car manufacturer has introduced a brand new carbon fiber material featured on the car called Carbonskin. Carbonskin is similar to regular carbon fiber weave, however, the weave is soaked in a special epoxy resin to maintain its rigidity whilst increasing flexibility. This custom material covers most of the interior and adds a beautiful matte-finish to the car.
Quote from Lamborghini:
With the Lamborghini Aventador J, we have moulded our brand DNA into its most definitive form to-date. This automobile is as extreme and as uncompromising as only a Lamborghini can be,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Lamborghini. “Nowadays we are confronted with several regulations that we face in the spirit of challenge. The Aventador J is the proof that, despite the rules, Lamborghini will always make people dream, even in the future.

As you can see from these pictures, the Aventador J also features heavily revise body panels including the bumpers, splitters, diffusers and the uniquely styled rear wing.
It’s currently unclear who the lucky owner is, but you can be assured they are truly rolling in cash, as a car like this would set you back millions. Oh yeah, and did I mention it’s road legal?
It’s a shame we don’t know who the lucky owner is, but you can guarantee they will be rolling in it as a custom car of this magnitude from Lamborghini would cost millions.
Did we mention it’s road legal too?
