Photos of the upcoming 2013 Audi A3 were leaked online earlier this month so you’d imagine that the German car manufacturer would be a bit more careful with their latest press shots, however yesterday a new set of photos have showed up.

This is the new 2013 Audi A3 which is scheduled to make an appearance at next months Geneva Motor Show, but as you can imagine after this leak we may see Audi unveiling this vehicle a little earlier.

Exterior upgrades are pretty obvious, the German designers have updated the LED headlamps and the front grille for starters. These leaked photos only show the two-door hatchback, however the A3 lineup will also include a five-door Sportback, a Convertible and a wagon.

There is nothing substantial with regards the cars styling, but what’s different is what powers this new A3. This A3 is powered by a 1.4-litre TSI engine equipped with a cylinder deactivation system that is available on the smaller Audi A1 Sportback.

The interior changes weren’t that surprising considering Audi revealed it just last month at the CES 2012 show in Las Vegas.
