Ever wondered where the cheapest place for petrol is? Thinking of moving there in order to be able to run your V8? Well here are the cheapest places in the world to buy petrolium today!
It is official the cheapest place to buy fuel is: -
1 – Venezuela – Caracas at only 2-3pence per litre
If you don’t mind moving to South America (Venezuela in particular) then Caracas is just for you. The average price per litre of petrol is around the 2-3p mark. The reason for this is that Venezuelans consider cheap fuel as a birthright – the last time the government attempted to raise fuel prices riots kicked off leaving hundreds dead.
The other cheap places to travel for fuel are as follows: -
2 – Saudi Arabia – Riyadh – 8p per litre
3 – Libya – Tripoli – 9p per litre
4 – Turkmenistan – Ashgabat – 12p per litre
5 – Bahrain – Manama – 13p – per litre
6 – Kuwait – Kuwait City – 14p – per litre
7 – Qatar – Doha – 15p – per litre
8 – Egypt – Cairo – 19p – per litre
9 – Oman – Muscat – 20p – per litre
10 – Algeria – Algiers – 20p – per litre
Don’t get too disheartened though – Residents of Norway are paying £1.60 per litre of fuel at the pumps…….
